Site Access and Property Damage

The customer is responsible for providing safe, suitable and adequate access for the delivery, placement and collection of all Rubbish and Scrap Metal Bins.

Enviro Scrap Metal Recyclists will take reasonable care when entering a customers property/site. However, we accept no responsibilty for damage arising from the delivery, placement or collection of the bin, where access or placement has been requested or authorised by the customer.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the nominated location has suitable access and can support the weight of the bin and collection vehicle, and that all hazards are identified and notified to us prior to delivery.

Any damage caused to our bins or equipment by the customer, their staff, machinery, or other persons while the bin is on-site may be charged to the customer, including repair or replacement costs and any reasonable loss of use

or associated costs.

• Skip and hook bin delivery and pick-up
• Car body pick-ups (gas tanks must be removed prior to collection, gas tanks are not accepted as scrap metal)

• Gas Cylinders, Fire Extinguishers or aerosols (all  pressure vessels) 

• Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, acids, pesticides, radioactive material)
• Liquids/Gases- all fluids must be drained (e.g., paint, oil, fuel, solvents, refrigerants)
• E-waste (e.g., TVs, computers, printers, solar panels, phones)
• Food waste in large quantities
• Medical waste or sharps
• Construction materials (e.g., bricks, concrete, tiles, treated timber)
• Soil or rubble
• Tyres
• Explosives, ammunition or firearms - If unsure about a specific item, please contact us before disposal.

CARS

Cars must be free of rubbish, lpg gas tanks are to be removed from the car they are not accepted as scrap metal

Improper disposal or contamination of bins may result in:

•  Non Payment of Scrap Metal
• Additional disposal and handling fees
• Refusal of Collection

Excess charges will also be incurred if the rubbish bin exceeds the maximum weight.

There is no hire fee for Scrap Metal Bins.

Scrap Metal from the bin will be paid at In-Yard prices less the cost of labour and travel to deliver and collect the bin.

Our Scrap Metal bins are for hire for a 2 week period, if you require a longer term bin please enquire at the office for further information.

Bins should not be overfilled. Scrap or rubbish should not hang outside the rim of the bin. Overloaded bins are hazardous to ourselves & the general public. We have an obligation to adhere to our work safety requirements.
